O-So Key Lime Soda

My wife was at the Mall of America recently, and she got me this:

She was at Legacy Toys at MOA.

She sent me 2 photos asking if I'd had all of these...

... and the only ones I hadn't had were O-So Peach (not interested) and O-So Key Lime.

Brand: O-So Key Lime Soda.  

Origin: Mukilteo, WA.

Purchase Place: Legacy Toy Store, Mall of America, Bloomington, MN.

Sweetener: Cane Sugar.

Review: This REALLY tasted like Key Lime! My wife took a sip, and I thought she'd hate it (as it's pretty sweet, and she doesn't like overly-sweet things), but she said "wow... that's like liquid pie!" And she meant that in a good way. Very spot on key lime flavor, and quite sweet. Not bad!

Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda

I opened this on a hot afternoon yesterday:

Brand: Melba's Fixins Key Lime Pie Soda

Origin: Camarillo, CA.

Purchase Place: Blue Sun Soda, Spring Lake Park, MN.

Sweetener: Sugar.

Review: This is quite smooth and tasty! I expected this to be (AT BEST) a soda that I sip and didn't enjoy much. But it ended up being very drinkable. My oldest son likes key lime greek yogurt, and it reminds me of a liquid version of that. It was good!

Stewart's Key Lime Soda

We headed to a brunch over this past weekend, and I brought along a Key Lime soda:

In my friend's kitchen before we had our brunch.

Brand: Stewart's Key Lime Soda.

Origin: (shoot, I didn't get this before I left the party.)

Purchase Place: Kowalski's Market, St. Paul, MN.

Sweetener: High Fructose Corn Syrup.

Review: This was really smooth - it tastes like you'd expect it to when you see how "foggy" it is. It's VERY sweet, almost to a fault. But the key lime taste is right on. It was pretty good - great for sipping at a meal.
