Strawberry Kiwi Breese

I cracked into this after a long holiday weekend of yard work:

Strawberry Kiwi Breese
The label has an adorable illustration of a kiwi and strawberry in a breeze.  Adorable.

Brand: Strawberry Kiwi Breese.

Origin: Breese, IL.

Purchase Place: Frattallone's Ace Hardware, St. Paul, MN.

Sweetener: Cane Sugar.

Review: This was pretty good. It wasn't an even mix of strawberry and kiwi - more like 80% strawberry and 20% kiwi. It was pretty smooth and sweet, and it went down easy.

Score: 6 out of 10.

Blueberry Breese

I took this to a board meeting earlier this week:

Blueberry Breese

Brand: Blueberry Breese.

Origin: Breese, IL.

Purchase Place: "Minnesota's Largest Candy Store," Jordan, MN.

Sweetener: Cane Sugar.

Review: This was OK. It was kind of generically berry-like. The true blueberry flavor wasn't too strong. The amount of sweetness was good - not too sweet. It wasn't bad, but it sure wasn't fantastic either.

Score: 4.5 out of 10.

Cherry Breese

I cracked into this at class today:

Cherry Breese
In my classroom - I forgot my phone, so I took this photo with Photo Booth on my Mac.

Brand: Cherry Breese.

Origin: Breese, IL.

Purchase Place: "Minnesota's Largest Candy Store," Jordan, MN.

Sweetener: Cane Sugar.

Review: This wasn't too smooth of a soda; it had a little sharpness to it. The ingredients list showed lemon and lime oils, and it maybe came from that. It was just a bit to sharp for me. Not bad, but not great. (p.s. It's called Cherry "BREESE" because it's made in Breese, IL.  Fun fact.)

Score: 4 out of 10.
